Returns & Withdrawal

1. Your right of withdrawal

EU consumer law gives you 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving any reason. The period starts the day you — or someone you nominated — physically receive the goods. If your order arrives in several parcels, it starts the day the last one arrives.

2. How to withdraw

Tell us before the 14 days are up. An email to saying you are withdrawing is enough — include your order number. You can use the model form at the bottom of this page, but you do not have to. Sending the parcel back without telling us first works too, as long as it is clear you are withdrawing.

The deadline is met if you send your message before the 14 days expire. You then have a further 14 days to dispatch the goods.

3. Condition of returned pieces

Try it on the way you would in a shop. You are entitled to handle the goods enough to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning — but if you go beyond that, we may reduce your refund to reflect the lost value.

In practice that means we accept returns that are:

• unworn, unwashed and free of marks, scent or hair;
• with all original tags still attached;
• returned in or with their original packaging where possible.

A tee that has been worn out for an evening is not a return. A tee you tried on in front of the mirror is.

4. Who pays for what

You pay the return postage. We are telling you this here, up front, which is what the law requires us to do in order to pass that cost on. We recommend a tracked service — until the parcel reaches us it is your risk, and without tracking a lost return is hard to resolve.

We refund the standard outbound shipping you paid on the original order. If you chose a faster or more expensive delivery option than our standard one, we refund the standard rate rather than the premium.

Where you return only part of an order and the rest still qualified for free shipping, no shipping deduction applies.

5. Your refund

We refund within 14 days of the day we are told you are withdrawing. We may hold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you show proof of dispatch, whichever comes first — that is expressly allowed.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used. There is no fee for this. Bank processing can add a few days at their end.

6. Faulty or wrong items

This policy is about changing your mind. If a piece arrives faulty, damaged or simply is not what you ordered, you are covered by the two-year legal guarantee of conformity instead — see clause 7 of our Terms & Conditions. In that case we pay the return postage. Email us with your order number and a photograph.

7. Exchanges

We do not process exchanges directly — with limited runs we cannot reliably hold a size while a parcel is in transit. Return the piece for a refund and place a new order for the size you want. If the size you need has sold out in the meantime, email us and we will do what we can.

8. What is excluded

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, or to sealed goods unsealed after delivery where returning them would be unhygienic. Our current collection is standard stock, so in practice every piece we sell can be returned.
