Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every order placed through this website. Please read them before you buy — placing an order means you accept them. Nothing here takes away the rights EU consumer law gives you; where the two disagree, the law wins.
1. The pieces
We photograph every piece ourselves and describe it as accurately as we can. Screens differ, though, so colours may vary slightly from what you see. Our garments are made in small runs; sizing is oversized by design and each product page tells you how that piece fits.
Stock shown on the site is our best information at the time. If a piece sells out between your order and our dispatch, we will tell you and refund you in full straight away.
2. Prices and VAT
All prices are in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping is charged separately at checkout: within the EU, free on orders over .
We may change prices at any time, but never for an order you have already placed. If a price is obviously wrong — a decimal in the wrong place, a piece listed at a fraction of its value — we may cancel the order and refund you, rather than being held to a manifest error.
3. How an order is made
Adding a piece to your bag is not an order. Your order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we send you a confirmation email. That email forms the contract between us. If we cannot accept your order, we will tell you and take no payment.
We may decline an order where a piece is unavailable, where we cannot get payment authorisation, where we suspect fraud or resale, or where there is an obvious error in the listing.
4. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number — that stays with the provider, who is certified to handle it. Ownership of a piece passes to you once we have received payment in full.
5. Delivery
We ship across the European Union. Orders are dispatched within two working days; delivery usually takes a further two to five working days depending on the country. These are estimates, not guarantees.
Under EU law, if we have not delivered within 30 days of the contract, you may set us an additional reasonable period and, if we miss that too, cancel the order for a full refund. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you — or someone you have nominated — takes physical possession of the goods.
6. Changing your mind
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal on every order. The details, including how to exercise it and who pays return postage, are set out in our Returns & Withdrawal policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. If something is wrong with your order
Separately from the right of withdrawal, EU law gives you a legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery. If a piece is faulty, not as described, or does not have the qualities you could reasonably expect, you are entitled to have it repaired or replaced free of charge and, where that is not possible or proportionate, to a price reduction or a refund.
Email us with your order number and a photograph and we will sort it out. This guarantee sits alongside your statutory rights and does not replace them.
It does not cover ordinary wear, damage from misuse or accident, or damage caused by ignoring the care instructions — our prints are not built to survive a tumble dryer.
8. Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for unforeseeable loss, or for business losses — these terms cover consumer sales only.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
9. Using this website
The photography, artwork, garment prints, the Resilient name and the Resilient logo are our intellectual property. You are welcome to share our images on social media with credit. You may not use them commercially, reproduce our prints, or sell garments bearing our designs.
10. Complaints and disputes
Tell us first — email us and we will reply within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it between us, you can submit the dispute to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These terms are governed by the law of . As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top tells you when this version took effect.
